Your role
The University of Luxembourg (UL) invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position within the Department of Computer Science (http://dcs.uni.lu). The candidate should have a research track record on one of the following research areas:
- Trustworthy AI
- AI for formal methods
- Formal methods for AI
The successful candidate will participate in the activities of the research group led by Prof. Dr. Jun Pang in the Belval Campus of the University of Luxembourg.
The candidate's tasks include the following:
- Lead and conduct excellent research on the one of the above research areas
- Communicate research results in international conferences and journals
- Contribute to fund attraction activities
- Assist and/or contribute in teaching activities
- Support in the supervision of PhD/master/bachelor students
Your profile
- PhD degree and outstanding qualifications in computer science
- Documented research experience, such as publications in top venues, in at least one of the above research areas listed above
- Strong mathematical and algorithmic background
- A pro-active approach to achieving research excellence
- Commitment, team working and a critical mind
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
