Your role
- Create and deliver HPC training modules specifically designed for industrial partners and public administrations
Provide high-level support to internal and external partners - Coordinate periodical meetings with NCC members to ensure project synergy and progress
- Liaise with various University departments (Finance, Research Facilitators, Communication) to monitor project status and ensure all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain active collaborations with external European projects and the wider NCC network
- Provide day-to-day supervision of Bachelor, Master, and PhD students involved in related activities
- Writing funding demands and scientific articles in the field
- Participate in research, education, and training activities across faculties
The EuroCC3 project team within the University of Luxembourg aims at:
- Driving the National Competence Centre activities in Luxembourg to facilitate High-Performance Computing uptake
- Providing tailored HPC-related training and educational support to SMEs, industries, and public administrations
- Coordinating high-impact actions and ensuring strategic alignment with NCC partners - LuxProvide and Luxinnovation
- Participating in national and European efforts by establishing collaborations with other NCCs and European initiatives such as the AI Factory
- Ensuring the project meets its strategic goals through rigorous tracking of Key Performance Indicators regarding finance, research facilitation, and communication

Your profile
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent field with a focus on High-Performance Computing
- Advanced Know-How in the fields of HPC
- Scientific Domain Expertise: While the position is open to various backgrounds, proven expertise in molecular simulation and density functional theory (DFT) is a significant asset to support ongoing research in hydrogen production, separation, and catalysis
- Experience in a research environment
- Experience with the industry is a plus
- Strong ability to understand and implement project management best practices, including managing multiple deliverables under strict timelines and coordinating with diverse institutional partners, e.g., Finance, Communication, and Research Facilitators
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
