The Luxembourg Research Clinic is a national collaborative initiative that brings together Luxembourg's hospitals, research institutions, and the university to translate the country's research excellence into patient‑centred clinical studies, driving innovation in healthcare, science, and the economy.
Your role
The job holder will provide dedicated support to the university community conducting clinical research projects developed within the framework of the Luxembourg Research Clinic. The position will be embedded within the DHML.
Main responsibilities:
- Support academic and clinical teams with the administrative and operational aspects of clinical research, including the coordination of study activities such as patient recruitment, informed consent processes, data and sample collection, and the subsequent management, processing, and reporting of study data
- Design, implement, and continuously optimize operational workflows in close collaboration with clinical, scientific, and technical partners
- Monitor compliance with ethical, regulatory, and legal requirements applicable to clinical research studies, e.g. CNER, GDPR
- Prepare, maintain, and oversee the submission of study documentation, including trial registrations and mandatory reports to funders and regulatory authorities
- Contribute to grant applications and research budgets, support the drafting of project reports, and participate in the communication and dissemination of research results
- Participate in risk assessment and quality management activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical research practices and ensuring high standards across all projects
Your profile
- Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field is required; a PhD will be considered an asset
- Experience in biomedical and/or clinical research and project management
- Experience with clinical databases, electronic data‑capture systems, or biobank management is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities proactively
- Solid understanding of clinical research regulations, ethics, and data‑protection frameworks, e.g., GDPR
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience interacting with clinicians, researchers, and external partners
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is highly desirable
- Autonomous and solution‑oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic research environment
