The Institute is supported by a small, young, and agile team operating under the authority of the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs.
Your role
As E-Learning Specialist, you will coordinate the Digital Education pillar of I²TL and contribute to the university's digital transformation of teaching and learning. The position combines strategic oversight, helping shape institutional directions for digital education, with hands-on implementation, supporting and enabling the adoption of digital tools and approaches across the university.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify priorities and opportunities in digital education and translate them into actionable initiatives
- Lead pedagogical innovation by integrating AI-supported tools, multimedia, and immersive learning technologies
- Advise and partner with academic staff and students, providing both strategic guidance and practical facilitation on the use of digital technologies in teaching and learning
- Design and deliver workshops, training sessions, and individual consultations to strengthen pedagogical innovation and digital literacy
- Develop clear guidelines, toolkits, and best-practice resources on technology-enhanced teaching and educational innovation
- Collaborate with the Media Centre, IT services, the Competence Centre, and faculty-based e-learning specialists
- Engage in communities of practice and contribute to university-wide events such as the University Teaching Day, and onboarding events for adjunct teachers and professors
- Consolidate activities and build synergies with other pillars of the Institute
Your profile
- Master's degree in digital education, learning sciences, educational technology, or related field (PhD is an asset)
- Experience in technology-enhanced learning, ideally in higher education
- Strong understanding of digital pedagogies, and innovative teaching in higher education
- Ability to design and deliver effective training materials and resources
- Interest in the pedagogical potential of AI, immersive environments, and digital platforms
- Motivation to contribute within a new, evolving team where autonomy, initiative, and collaboration are essential
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or German is an asset
