Our client, an Investment Fund company based in Luxembourg, is looking for its future Financial Data Analyst for their Financial Strategy & Analytics Division.
This will be a temporary contract of 2 months.

Your responsabilities :
- Designing and updating the Strategic Target System (STS) scorecard, including defining KPIs, calibrating measures, and automating data collection;
- Managing the quarterly STS process, from gathering and verifying data to producing results and analyses;
- Preparing analytical reports, management updates, and strategic papers for senior leadership;
- Contributing to the creation of dynamic financial datasets, including balance sheets and related statements;
- Overseeing and refining team procedures and operational workflows;
- Acting as a subject-matter expert in data analytics, developing models, tools, and advanced analyses for strategic purposes;
- Fostering a data-driven culture, providing guidance on the independent use of analytical tools, and supporting colleagues with data-related questions;
- Innovating and implementing new analytical methods and advanced data tools;
- Engaging in cross-functional initiatives, offering both strategic insights and analytical expertise.
Your profile :
- University degree in Finance, Strategy, Data Science, STEM, or a closely related discipline;
- Minimum of three years’ professional experience in areas such as corporate strategy, financial analysis, or data/business analytics, ideally with exposure to the financial sector;
- Strong proficiency in managing, analysing, and visualising complex datasets using tools like Python, R, SQL, SAS, or Alteryx, as well as platforms such as Tableau or Power BI;
- Solid Excel skills, with knowledge of VBA considered a plus;
- Experience in developing and maintaining strategic dashboards and performance tracking systems is highly valued;
- Familiarity with quantitative modelling, financial forecasting, and accounting concepts is beneficial;
- Understanding of statistical approaches, including regression, A/B testing, or causal inference, and their application in business contexts is a strong asset;
- Prior involvement in project management or coordination is advantageous;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; additional European language proficiency is an asset.
