Your next challenge:
- Develop and refine Enterprise risk assessments. Review and develop risk management charters, policies and procedures, and participate in maintaining strong risk governance at the level of the Bank;
- Participate in the development and implementation of action plans, and contribute to various projects to meet internal and external cross-functional risk management requirements;
- Recommend risk appetite and risk tolerance statements to the Management Bodies, and contribute to the alignment between the business strategy and the risk strategy;
- Monitor transversal risks inherent in the Bank's business and contribute to the development of risk management reports and risk dashboards;
- Ensure full compliance with the requirements of regulatory authorities, notably the European Central Bank (ECB), the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financer in Luxembourg (CSSF) and the Single Resolution Board (SRB);
- Implement and monitor the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP);
- Produce periodic reports highlighting the evolution of regulatory projects, including ICAAP/ILAAP, Recovery Plan, Resolution Plan, and Pillar 3 reporting, with a focus on stress testing insights;
- Responsible for ensuring that various risk factors, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks are effectively integrated into the Bank's stress testing processes. This involves: a) designing and implementing stress testing scenarios in close coordination with other risk owners to identify key risk drivers and potential stress events; b) analysing the results of these stress tests to evaluate the Bank's resilience under different scenarios; and c) ensuring that the findings from stress testing are documented, communicated, and acted upon across the organization.
- Oversee the ESG risk management framework from a 2nd line of defense perspective. This includes developing policies and procedures to identify, assess and mitigate ESG risks, ensuring that these considerations are integrated into the Bank's overall risk management processes. Monitor compliance with relevant ESG regulations and integrate ESG factors into stress testing scenarios;
- Contribute to the transversal regulatory watch system in connection with the risk management function;
- Participate in developing the capital management roadmap, ensuring compliance with the regulatory capital requirements, with hands-on participation in the implementation of CRR 3 / CRD VI;
- Participate and play an active role, from a Risk Management standpoint, in the embedment of the 3-Lines-of-Defense framework in the Group's Risk Management framework;
- Contribute to the Bank's risk management committees (Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, Executive Committee, Board Risk Committee, Board of Directors);
- Contribute to strengthening and diffusing the risk management culture throughout the Bank.
Your skills:
- Master's or equivalent in Finance/Economics/Management;
- Minimum +7 years of experience in Risk Management in ECB-supervised banks, or handling Risk Management responsibilities in the field of Consulting for ECB-supervised banks;
- Proven experience in the European regulatory framework, Basel IV and international best practices related to Risk Management;
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the Bank. Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Self-starter attitude. Ability to work independently and to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
- Ability to lead, coordinate and manage regulatory projects.
