Personal Banking Officer M/F

Job purpose:

• To conduct the tasks related to terminate stock agent business.
• To complete the obligations complies with MIFID requirements for the existing stock ;
• To conduct the day-to-day personal banking counter operational work, provide high quality service to customers and the other departments.
• To control and mitigate operational risk, making sure the daily work complies with Legal Compliance request.

Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:

• Joins the stock agency termination working group, coordinates with other departments and external counterparties.
• Completes relevant MiFID II reporting such as ex-ante, ex-post charges, trade execution reports, SAQ, and other related requests from Compliance and related departments.
• Conducts the day-to-day personal counter operational work.
• Contacts with the clients, assists in updating the clients KYC information on a regular basis, preserving the information in proper way.
• Receives and replies customers’ call, arranging for customer’s business appointment.
• Assists in departmental management tasks.
• Performs any other tasks assigned by the Bank/Department.

Profile:

• Master Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, Economic Management or Business Related Studies.
• MIFID related certificate would constitute an advantage.
• More than 2 years of working experience in relevant fields.
• Fluency in English and Chinese are essential. French is considered as an advantage.
• Familiar with the relevant regulations, policy and procedure, and operation practice, workflow, systems.
• Committed, confident, determined, self-motivated, strong analytical and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of the general, economic, political and business environment of the region.
