Your next challenge:
- Analysis and reporting: report the Net Interest Margin as well as ensure the production of Fund Transfer Pricing rates. Conduct in-depth analysis and understand the evolution of both the interest margin (by product and by business) and the P&L for the ALM & Treasury desks and identify potential risks, opportunities, and trends.
- Budgetary process: active participation in the elaboration of the bank's annual budget and the quarterly forecast. Ensure its follow-up and provide supporting evidence in case of any deviations.
- Collaboration: provide business analyst team with relevant data and information to support their analysis for the purpose of the business lines' performance review.Work closely with the ALM team to ensure alignment with the Fund Transfer Pricing framework.
- Process optimization and data management: optimize and stabilize operational processes, technologies, and tools in relation with the Fund Transfer Pricing framework.
- Strategic decisions and opportunities development: Ensure the implementation and the follow-up of the decisions taken by the ALM Committee. Participate in cross-functional and/or complex projects related to process improvement initiatives in relation with the Fund Transfer Pricing framework and more broadly for the Financial Planning department.
Your skills:
- A master's degree with a focus on finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in financial analysis, asset and liability management, or risk management within a financial institution or corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and instruments, including fixed income securities and interest rate derivatives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SQL.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Moody's Analytics solutions is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills: daily interaction with various stakeholders - Fluency in English and French.
