DATA ANALYST
The Data Analyst will play an important role in Advanzia’s data governance and analytics activities. As part of the Data Analytics and Risk Control team, you will support the Data Governance Coordinator in their data management duties and contribute to operational business monitoring and reporting, operational ad-hoc analytics, creation and maintenance of decision-making algorithms and analytical data support for different departments at the bank. This opportunity is a full-time CDI contract.
ABOUT THE JOB l What will you do?
As the “Data Analytics Officer”, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Support the bank’s data governance initiatives in a data stewardship capacity
- Establish techniques for data quality to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
- Manage automatic operational monitoring and reporting for daily business needs and decision making
- Suggest and drive modern solutions for dashboarding and data visualisation
- Manage data extraction and conduct analytical assessments on ad-hoc basis
- Provide detailed information for management reports, financial planning and requests
- Develop algorithms and models for data-driven decision making
- Support in determining data needs by collaborating with business and product related departments
ABOUT YOU l What’s your background?
- University degree, preferably in economics, statistics, or any quantitative field
- At least three years of professional experience in data analytics
- Experience in quantitative and statistical analysis & modelling, preferably related to consumer behaviour
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in different statistical tools and methodologies, particularly R, Python and SQL
- Experience in PowerBI and IBM Cloud Pak for Data would be advantageous
