As a Trainee in the Compliance team of Advanzia Bank, you will have the opportunity to gain an insight into a variety of activities and tasks related to Compliance. You will support the Legal and Compliance department in the day-to-day tasks and controls and contribute to current compliance-related projects. This opportunity is a full-time internship contract of up to six months.
ABOUT THE JOB l What will you do?
As a Compliance Trainee, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Support in the performance of day-to-day compliance tasks related to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter terrorist financing (CTF)
- Contribute to the analysis and review of KYC (Know Your Customer) documents of new partners during the client acceptance process
- Contribute to the controlling of the AML/CTF first line of defence related activities
- Assist with the execution of other compliance controls and ad-hoc tasks
- Update internal records and ensure information is up to date
- Participate to the review and update of Compliancerelated policies and procedures
- Support the team on current projects
ABOUT YOU l What’s your background?
- You are enrolled or recently graduated from University in Law, Business Management or similar
- You have a good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new IT programmes
- You are able to handle confidential and sensitive issues
- You have some knowledge or are interested in compliance, regulatory or legal matters
WHAT WE EXPECT l What are your skills?
- A full-time internship contract for a period of six months, or a part-time contract for 12 months
