About the Role:
For our Ferrero Headquarters in Luxembourg, we are looking for a Category Buyer to join our Procurement team.
In this role, you will contribute to sourcing strategies that support some of the world's most loved brands. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will help ensure the availability of goods and services while balancing quality, cost, innovation, sustainability, and business continuity.
Whether your experience comes from direct materials, indirect procurement, services, marketing, media, logistics, packaging, or other procurement categories, you will have the opportunity to develop supplier partnerships, drive sourcing initiatives, and create value across our international business.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Category Buyer, you will contribute to the development and execution of procurement strategies aligned with business priorities and long-term company objectives. You will support sourcing activities, market analyses, supplier selection processes, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring.
You will partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and deliver procurement solutions that balance quality, service, innovation, risk management, and total cost of ownership.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor market trends and industry developments, and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement, sustainability, and innovation.
Working in a dynamic international environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support procurement projects, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to the achievement of procurement and business targets.
About You:
You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
You have initial professional experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Category Management, Sourcing, Vendor Management, or another relevant business function. Experience in FMCG or an international environment would be considered an advantage.
You are comfortable working with data and market insights to support decision-making, and you enjoy building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers across different cultures and functions.
You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in English is required.
