For our headquarter office based in Dudelange, we are currently looking for a Technical Service Representative (m/f) :
Under the supervision of the Technical Service Manager, the Technical Service Representative is responsible for understanding and supporting customers’ technical needs within an assigned territory and/or dedicated application (Injection, Blow molding, Flexible films, Extrusion, Bopp).
Activities include : providing technical service to accounts, identifying product requirements to guarantee successful usage of our products by customers, relaying information and insights regarding customer needs to the manufacturing group, and acting as the technical liaison between Management, Manufacturing, and Sales. The Technical Service Representative also provides technical support to customers, Sales, and others.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides customers with technical assistance in analyzing their products and quality requirements, advising and recommending the best products for their applications, following trials results performed by customers;
- Supports Sales staff with technical competencies in the relations with customers;
- Informs Sales, Marketing, Technical and Production staff about customers’ needs, requests and problems on a regular basis;
- Stimulates and recommends improvements of products’ quality;
- Participates to new projects’ development, explores the technical requirements of new products or markets;
- Manages the technical aspects of customer’s quality complaints;
- Performs all other additional projects and duties as assigned by the management.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science and/or Chemical Engineering;
- At least 2-3 years’ experience;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Analytical mind;
- Fluent in English, another language is an asset;
- Strong business skills;
- Autonomous and flexible;
- Problem solving;
- Willing to travel (30% of the time).
