Deployment Specialist (m/f)
Description
- Configures, and administers cloud infrastructure and applications
- Define configuration management and deployment strategies for Cloud resources
- Ensure availability and stability of cloud production environments
- Develop, and design software automation and scripts to orchestrate cloud and virtualization technologies with defined scope, schedule and expectations with a focus on Operations
- Provides subject matter expert technical support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions and APIs with a focus on Operations
- Work with the development teams in resolving software and other related problems associated with the cloud deployment infrastructure
- Manage day-to-day deployment and maintenance activities
- Analyze and tune information systems performances
- Security administration and monitoring
Requirements
- Sound experience in Linux environments (RedHat/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu), including shell scripting, as well as networking
- Good knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM)
- Good knowledge of Docker container environments and Kubernetes (K8s) orchestration
- Good knowledge of system and service deployment with Foreman, Ansible, and Terraform
- Good knowledge of CI/CD automation tools
- Knowledge in service deployments in commercial clouds like AWS would be an asset
- Knowledge of Python programming language would be an asset
- Very Good knowledge of English
