Senior Depositary Officer (m/f/d) – AC184

Greenfield is very happy to assist our client in their search for a Senior Depositary Officer. Our client is a leading Investor Services group that combines global expertise with an unwavering focus on client service delivery. They support fund managers, global companies, family offices, and private clients operating worldwide. You will be in charge of a portfolio of clients and ensure clients’ satisfaction and compliance with rules and regulations. You will assist the Manager during the client’s onboarding process ensuring smooth onboarding of customers. You will be able to supervise a small team of Juniors and depositary officers ensuring the activity and transactions of funds are compliant with applicable laws and regulations (AIFMD, SIF, SICAR, RAIF,…). You will collect and review relevant transactional documents and ensures ownership chain as well as manage relationships with clients, internal and external service providers such as AIFMs, Administrators, Advisors, Auditors, Credit Institution, etc.

Your role:

• You will be the first point of contact with clients, investing in Real Estate, Private Equity, Debt, Fund of Funds products, etc. and be able to manage and understand complex structures.
• You assist and participate the Manager in the review of the constitutional documents (PPM, depositary agreements, etc.) including negotiation of terms and conditions and drafting of the operating memos under the supervision of the Managers;
• You will perform cash and safekeeping reconciliations and oversee the work performed by junior staff;
• You will supervise the activity and transactions of funds in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• You will collect and review relevant transactional documents and ensure ownership chain;
• Preparation and issuance of the year-end asset positions;
• You will assist the Manager in the preparation and issuance of the periodical internal reports on the fund’s portfolio;
• You will manage the relationships with clients, internal and external service providers such as AIFMs, Administrators, Advisors, Auditors, Credit institutions, etc;
• You will identify priorities, in coordination with the Manager, and ensure the appropriate planning of your own tasks;
• You will give regular feedback to the superior and escalate without delay issues and risks identified.

Your profile:

• 4-5 years of experience in the area of depositary/custody function gained in a depositary bank or similar experience gained in an audit or fund accounting role
• Private Equity / Real Estate markets experience
• Fund accounting experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment for depositaries
• Fluent in English with French or German is an advantage
• Preferably a University Degree in Finance or Accounting
