POSITION DESCRIPTION
As part of the development of its Luxembourg office, TCV is seeking an Accountant to assist the Luxembourg Office Controller with the financial operations and reporting for the SPVs, as well as the implementation of the internal procedures for the Luxembourg office.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Assist with the overall accounting of the Luxembourg entities:
- Record daily bookkeeping.
- Prepare interim accounts, quarterly reporting and financial statements in accordance with Lux GAAP principles and internal procedures.
- Assist in the reconciliation of intercompany balances.
- Manage the A/P process of the Luxembourg office in coordination with the US Team and internal procedures.
- Assist with the budget and cash forecasts of the Luxembourg entities.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT and tax returns.
- Assist on audits, board meetings and shareholders’ meetings.
- Assist in the implementation of the procedures for the Luxembourg office.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University (BA/MA) degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Finance/Economics, CPA/ACCA accreditation (or equivalent) would be a plus.
- Lux GAAP knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in English, French would be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Positive and pro-active attitude.
