Role: Funding Operations Analyst

Location: Luxembourg (in office)

Salary: €50,000 to €55,000 + performance bonus

You enjoy structured work, resolving discrepancies, and making sure financial operations are completed correctly every time. You take pride in clean records, reliable processes, and closing loops when something does not reconcile.

This role sits within Bizcap’s growing European operations team and plays an important part in ensuring loan funding, payments, and financial records are processed accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Process loan funding activities accurately, ensuring disbursements and activations are completed correctly
• Maintain and reconcile financial records including commissions, payments, and operational ledgers;
• Identify discrepancies in financial data and investigate the underlying cause;
• Produce operational reports and analysis using Excel to support finance and operations teams;
• Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Customer teams to confirm data handoffs and resolve exceptions;
• Contribute to small operational improvements such as improved templates, validations, or automation.

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• Fluent German (written and spoken);
• Professional working proficiency in English;
• 1 to 3 years experience in finance operations, accounting operations, payments operations, or similar roles;
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup formulas such as VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP;
• Demonstrated attention to detail when working with financial data or reconciliations;
• Ability to work accurately in structured operational workflows;

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in financial services, fintech, fund administration, or payment operations;
• Accounting or finance education or progress toward a qualification;
• Experience with reconciliations, commissions calculations, or ledger-based reporting;
• Familiarity with simple automation tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, or workflow scripting
