Our client, a Investment bank based in Luxembourg is looking for its future Compliance Officer for their Group Risk & Compliance department.
This will be a temporary contract of 2 months. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsibilities :
- Advise on compliance policies, especially in areas like market abuse, conflicts of interest, and financial regulations
- Help identify compliance obligations and assess related risks
- Support how risks are managed, monitored, and reported
- Contribute to handling compliance breaches and improving processes
- Prepare policies, procedures, and compliance opinions
- Review new products or activities from a compliance risk perspective
- Support projects, including digital tools and training initiatives
- Suggest improvements to policies, systems, and methodologies
- Work closely with teams across the organisation and act as a key contact for compliance topics
- Analyse proposals and provide recommendations based on regulations and best practices
- Monitor compliance and advise on control frameworks
- Identify gaps and suggest corrective actions
- Answer compliance-related questions and provide guidance
- Support and coach junior colleagues
- Help develop and review training materials
- Stay up to date with regulations, industry trends, and best practices
- Lead meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Promote awareness of compliance responsibilities across the organisation
- Handle additional compliance tasks when requested by senior management
Your profile :
- Master’s degree in law, finance, economics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or financial supervision
- Knowledge of market abuse, conflicts of interest, and financial regulations is a plus
- Experience with digital tools in compliance is an advantage
- Strong English or French skills, with a good command of the other language
- Knowledge of European financial institutions or similar organisations is a plus
- Ability to analyse large amounts of information quickly
- Practical mindset with understanding of business needs
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to influence others

Package :
- Annual gross salary: €86 278 € (paid over 12 months)
- Leave: 26 days of annual leave + up to 17 public holidays
