EuroCaution, the leading insurance broker for Bond & Surety on the Belgian & Luxembourg market with more than 1500 active customers and 2500 construction projects guaranteed, is looking for a new Back-Office officer & Accounting assistant to join our new Team.
Your Mission
- The Account Manager has the primary objective to have a consolidated view of the relationship with Sales, Underwriting departments and Clients in order to guarantee a quality of service in line with EuroCaution strategic objectives.
- Support our sales, intermediaries & clients with all insurance policy related requests from throughout the full policy lifecycle.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed within the foreseen turn-around-times, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
- Maintain and document accurate records within our IT systems including all communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Escalate any complaints or call backs in a timely manner.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of the given information and obtain additional information if necessary.
- Assessing of risks in close collaboration with the Underwriting department
- Handling the creation of new insurance policies.
- Communicating with policyholders & intermediaries to explain the policy and underlying processes,
- Undertake other business activities and tasks as required, ensuring ongoing operational effectiveness, efficiency and positive contribution to EuroCaution

- Strong customer focus with strong diplomatic communication at all levels; verbally and written to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- A positive, helpful attitude, willing to work co-operatively with other members of the team with a good commercial awareness and with the ability to make decisions with the “bigger picture” in mind.
- Able to work quickly and accurately using multiple systems and adapt to new insights.
- A pro-active approach to work with analytical problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative.
- Data-driven with the ability to prepare customer reports, analyse and interpret data and identify inefficiency.
- Strong team spirit and able to work in an international environment.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar position at an Insurance Broker, an Insurance company, a Bank or a financial service company
Other required skills
- You’re fluent or Native in Belgian Flemish or Dutch & Advanced French & English both written and verbal
- Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office & CRM TOOLS
