Buyer (m/f/n)

Your tasks
- You will draw up specifications, prepare and issue invitations to tender for standard items with suppliers via the dedicated platforms.
- You evaluate bids with the departments concerned, negotiate prices and select suppliers.
- You create the orders for the requesting departments and take charge of the administrative, commercial and financial follow-up of the orders.
- You will set up framework contracts for recurring purchases with a view to improving purchasing efficiency and performance.
- You will ensure that your orders and framework contracts are properly executed, with the aim of guaranteeing delivery in terms of quality and deadlines.
- You will monitor the departure and return of temporary exports for repair abroad.
- You will carry out ad hoc quality checks on items ordered and invoices received, and monitor changes in the prices of goods in stock.
- You will liaise with internal customers and suppliers, and ensure effective communication with your partners.
Your profile
- You hold a secondary school-leaving diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in purchasing is considered an asset.
- Understanding of and compliance with public procurement regulations and procedures.
- Good knowledge of office tools. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Proactive by nature, you are rigorous, precise and autonomous in carrying out your tasks.
- Team spirit, motivation, flexibility and availability are your hallmarks.
- Fluent in French, German and English. Knowledge of Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
