Officer Compliance - Data Protection

TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Data Protection Unit with developing operational aspects of the data protection program, such as the register of processing activities, DPIA and DSAR processes.
• Assessing the company’s operations and processes to determine data protection risks, providing of legal advice, providing support in the scope of projects with data protection implications.
• Suggest improvements and recommendations with regards to data protection matters.

Accessory tasks:

• Assist in planning, organising compliance training and communications initiatives, updating and maintaining records, and compiling reports.
• Develop and review training material.
• Assist in delivering training sessions to employees and agents.
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.
• Support the Compliance Department in the activities required to ensure the implementation of an effective compliance program.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Masters Degree in Law
• First experience related to data protection is considered as an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Fluency in written and spoken English; any other language is an advantage
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to transform complex topics into clear and engaging materials
• Creative mindset
• Team player, flexible and willing to work on a variety of topics
• Basic understanding of compliance key regulatory and legal requirements is an advantage
• Proving experience in delivering training and/or giving presentations is an advantage

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Permanent, full-time position, based in Luxembourg
• Occasional travel may be required within the Cargolux network
• A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciare, Polizieiliches Fuhrungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• The internal job title for this position will be Officer Compliance.
