Within the Credit Risk department, you will analyze credit requests for Wealth Management customers and conduct their annual reviews. This activity will be performed within the framework of the Bank policies / procedures and the respect of the regulatory environment.
"3 lines of defense" model: Within Risk Management department, you will be part of the second line of defense (alongside Compliance department) which provides rules, policies and guidelines for the first line of defense, i.e. the teams directly working with our clients. The third line of defense, through our internal audit team, makes sure that the first two lines are in line with legal requirements of our supervisors and the risk appetite of the Bank.
Your next challenge:
- Challenging and dynamic private banking credit risk role within the Credit risk department
- Close collaboration and interaction with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Credit Structuring, Sales and Trading, Legal and Compliance
- Assessment of collateralized finance transactions (Lombard) in the HNWI- and UHNWI-segment of the Wealth Management Direction
- Credit analysis to include the full range of risk assessment such as exposure, collateral (e.g. single stock lending and risk concentrations across all asset classes and derivatives) and transactions featuring non-standard counterparty types or bespoke credit structures along with Legal, Cross-Border and Reputational Risk considerations
- Credit decision authority or, as required, the preparation of credit requests to Credit Committee
- Active involvement in wide array of risk-related projects and New Business Initiatives
- Provide support to the team and especially to the Senior Credit risk analysts
Your skills:
- Master in Economic Science or Banking & Finance (at least the first year of a master's degree must be completed).
- Enthusiasm for international Finance- and Economic developments and strong interest in capital markets
- You are fluent in French and English. Knowledge of German is considered as an asset.
- You have a good command of usual working tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- You are rigorous and are able to synthesize information with very good writing skills.
