As part of the Bank's Balance Sheet Management team, the Long-Term Funding desk is responsible for managing the Bank's medium‑ and long‑term financing needs. We are looking for a Funding Manager to support the planning, negotiation, execution, and monitoring of the Bank's long‑term funding operations across various issuance programs.
This position requires solid expertise in debt capital markets, funding instruments, and internal coordination, as well as strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Your next challenge:
Execution of New Issuances:
- Maintain and update the Bank's funding grid applicable to both internal and external operations for retail and institutional clients.
- Manage internal and external contacts with multiple stakeholders to negotiate funding conditions and arrange hedging (e.g., swaps) when required.
- Coordinate all documentation, approvals, and operational steps required to ensure smooth execution and settlement of new funding transactions.
Monitoring and Administration of Existing Issuances
- Record and validate all required entries in the Bank's core banking system.
- Coordinate with Back Office, Middle Office, and the Regulator to ensure accurate reporting and operational follow‑up.
- Oversee the full administrative lifecycle of outstanding funding instruments.
- Maintain, update, and ensure data quality within the internal funding database.
- Monitor embedded options such as calls and puts and prepare related decision‑support analysis.
Participation in Strategic and Ad‑hoc Projects
- Coordinate updates to the Bank's various funding programs, which serve as the legal framework for medium‑ and long‑term funding activities.
- Contribute to the reporting, monitoring, and governance of the Green Bond Framework.
- Support Risk Management teams on liquidity‑related analyses and regulatory topics.
- Maintain and further develop relationships with investment banks and investors.
- Ensure efficient coordination of the desk's activities in close cooperation with the ALM desk.
Your skills:
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments, particularly bonds and swaps.
- Ability to read, understand, and draft standard legal contracts related to funding and financial transactions.

- Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Bloomberg, Kondor, T24 (or equivalent treasury and banking systems)
- Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of Luxembourgish and German considered an asset
