Data Officer/Data Analyst (M/F)

As a member of the Financial Information Systems team, within BIL Group Financial Control, your activities will support the transformation of the department and the bank following BIL migration to the new Core Banking System. You will be in charge of leading key initiatives to increase the team efficiency and figures accuracy, with your expertise on data and tooling.

As a Data Analyst / Data engineer, you will be in charge to support Group Financial Control team to re-build its internal data models, internal reports and commercial reports for the front sales, to automate its processes, to optimize its data architecture and to coordinate the IT developments with the IT team.

Your next challenge:

• Ensure solution design and delivery fits the agreed upon guidelines including functional & technical requirements, performance, security and process.
  
• Work with Business, IT and data teams find convergent solutions for the bank while communicating them efficiently.
  
• Respect deadlines and change priorities depending on the context.
  
• Participate in functional requirements analysis and provide expertise on data modeling
  
• Help the team with challenges encountered while using multiple tools. Be it at the design level (report creation, cube, …) but also at semantic level and basic administration.
  
• You can provide tips, architecture recommendation based on your previous experiences.
  
• Participate in solution implementation if needed while coordinating other team members.

Your skills:

• 3+ years relevant experience in BI or Data Analysis.
  
• Master or engineering degree in Computer Science / Data modeling & analysis
  
• General knowledge of banking products
  
• Good knowledge of BI concepts and languages (ETL, Data modeling, DataWharehouse,SQL, Python)
  
• Good experience with Dataiku, Microstrategy, Power BI, QlikSense is a plus
  
• Interest in new technologies and hot topics BI (Self-Service, Data Visualization, Big Data, GenAI, etc.))
  
• Knowledge of T24 Temenos is a plus
  
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Hopex is a plus
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills to share findings and to explain solutions to a non-technical audience.
  
• Team player with an ability to understand problems of other businesses
  
• Result and solution oriented, resourceful
  
• Able to organize him/herself and set priorities to support internal clients' in reaching their objectives
  
• Willing to learn (technologies, methods) and to develop new competencies
  
• Enjoying sharing his/her knowledge and supporting colleagues in developing their competencies
  
• You are fluent in both written and spoken French, and a good level in English.
