The Pictet Group is one of the world’s leading independent wealth and asset managers. The Technology & Operations division designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms through to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.


As the Head of Corporate Actions and Tariffs, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all activities related to corporate actions and tariffs within our organization. 
You will lead two teams responsible for corporate action management and tariff management, ensuring that all operations are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Your role

 

Management


⦁    Manage two teams: develop and foster cross-functional skills within the respective team and between teams, empower employees, contribute to their development, conduct motivating and meaningful performance interviews, manage leave fairly.
⦁    Assess the volume and complexity of the team’s workload regularly on the basis of KPIs to be communicated to management.
⦁    Ensure rigorous and proactive management of risks associated with the activities, identify and propose solutions to improve internal processes and the control environment.
⦁    Communicate, advocate for and implement strategic objectives derived from the vision and mission of the two teams.

 

Corporate Actions 


⦁    Ensure that corporate events are handled with a high level of service quality, while being collectively responsible for the operational success of other activities within the department.
⦁    Ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements related to corporate actions.

 

Tariffs 


⦁    Participate in the pricing codification for clients. 
⦁    Establish and develop quality control for pricing configurations.
⦁    Provide support to internal clients.
 

Your profile

 

⦁    Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
⦁    Ability to develop your team and foster cross-functional skills.
⦁    Advanced analytical skills, capability to design and develop tools and procedures.
⦁    Ability to adhere to deadlines, to plan tasks and anticipate and solve problems.
⦁    Excellent knowledge of Corpac, good understanding of financial products.
⦁    Proficient in SWIFT messaging and standard office applications.
⦁    Familiar with financial information websites (Telekurs, Bloomberg, etc.).
⦁    Knowledge of Avaloq would be a considerable asset.
⦁    Professional experience in Tariffs would be a significant advantage. 
⦁    Fluency in both French and English
