Legal counsel | SPV & AIF | Join a leader in city centre

Our client is a renowned company specialising in the administrative management of investment funds for a diverse client base, including institutional and retail investors, financial and asset managers, corporates and insurance companies.

With over 50 years' experience, it is recognised as a leader in fund management. The working environment is caring and supportive of its employees' life balance. Although the work is intense and challenging, you'll find it satisfying on a daily basis.

Based in Luxembourg city centre, the local team numbers around ten people, but the company is much larger on a global scale, offering a multicultural working environment.

Legal counsel - Your Role :

• Analysing and validating legal documentation relating to fundraising.
• Advising on fund transactions and regulatory compliance.
• Manage legal issues relating to fund structures, including SPVs, holding companies and other investment vehicles.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure compliance.
• Monitoring relevant legislative and regulatory developments and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements relating to fund activities.
• Providing legal support to fund management, compliance and other internal functions.
• Maintain a constant legal watch to anticipate and manage potential risks.

Legal counsel - Your Profile:

• Have been a lawyer or are currently a lawyer, with the CCDL.
• Significant experience in a funds or corporate department, ideally with renowned firms such as those in the Magic Circle.
• Expertise with SPVs, holding companies and funds is essential. (Any banking or tax experience will be less relevant to this role).
• Minimum 6 years' experience.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Ability to integrate easily into a supportive team, take initiative, prioritise and organise.
