Junior Accountant - Responsibilities

As an Internal Accountant, you will:

• Process, validate, and ensure timely payment of incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Record and review all accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile accounts and address discrepancies to maintain precise financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Draft and submit VAT declarations in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage taxes specific to the banking sector.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely publication of accounts in compliance with legal obligations.
• Maintain well-organized and accurate accounting records for audit readiness and internal use.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes in accounting and taxation to ensure process compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related issues and support decision-making.

Junior Accountant - Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in French (oral and written) and good knowledge of English. Dutch is an advantage.
• A first year of experience or internship in accounting, ideally in banking sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of Luxembourg accounting standards, VAT regulations, and banking accounting practices is essential.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail, autonomy, and adaptability.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Upholds discretion and ethical standards.
