FRAUD PREVENTION OFFICER
Do you want to play a key role in protecting our customers and ensuring the security of our credit card operations?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Prevention Officer to join our Operations team and contribute to the prevention and detection of fraud across all stages of the customer lifecycle.

ABOUT THE JOB | Your responsibilities
- Perform internal quality checks.
- Review and verify incoming identification documents.
- Handle customer inquiries and manage daily operational reports.
- Run analyses on potential fraud patterns and propose prevention measures.
- Escalate suspicious activities in a timely and structured manner.
- Analyse data, develop reports, and conduct fraud-related investigations
- Support Customer Service teams with Fraud related tasks.
- Execute back-office operations, including case handling and documentation.
- Respond to and report to authorities such as the CSSF.
- Answer emails, mail and calls from customers and external partners.
- Provide customer advisory services, acting as mediator between customers, institutions and the bank.
- Follow up on chargeback cases (Mastercard reports, representments, statements).
- Process authorisation requests from acquirers regarding suspicious transactions.
- Handle chargebacks of fraudulent transactions and disputes.
- Process write-offs due to legal reasons (e.g. no chargeback rights, stolen cards).
- Prepare responses to lawyers, authorities and representatives.
ABOUT YOU | Your background, skills and personality
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, economics (3+ years of experience in a similar field).
- Know-how: Good knowledge of MS Office; ideally SQL basics; strong analytical skills.
- Business knowledge: 3+ years of experience in a similar field.
- Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, navigating change effectively.
- Collaboration and teamwork: A natural team player who thrives in a flat organisational structure and actively contributes to the collective success of the team.
- Fluency in German and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Transparency and communication: Clear and direct communication style with a commitment to engage openly and constructively, maintaining.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Experience in working collaboratively across different teams and departments to foster agility and innovation.
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
