As part of the Finance department, the Corporate Finance Officer will contribute to activities that support the bank's liquidity, funding and capital position while working closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. From analysing funding opportunities and monitoring market developments to supporting investor communications and strategic finance initiatives, you will gain broad exposure to key areas of corporate finance in a dynamic banking environment.

About the job

• Support funding and treasury activities – Contribute to the management of the bank's liquidity position, funding structure and excess cash investments, helping to ensure a balanced and sustainable funding profile
• Analyse funding and capital opportunities – Monitor funding costs, evaluate market opportunities and prepare analyses that support financing, capital and treasury-related decisions
• Contribute to fundraising projects – Support the planning and execution of funding transactions, including the preparation of materials, coordination of stakeholders and monitoring of project milestones
• Support investor and lender relations – Prepare presentations and reporting materials, coordinate information requests and contribute to interactions with investors, lenders and other external stakeholders
• Monitor financial and market developments – Perform peer benchmarking, credit rating analysis and market research to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
• Prepare reporting and management information – Contribute to reporting for stakeholders, internal committees, lenders and regulatory authorities
• Support strategic finance initiatives – Assist with capital management activities, funding-related projects, audit requests and analyses that support the bank's growth and business objectives

About you

• University/bachelor’s University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or Financial Engineering, or an equivalent degree
• Experience as a financial consultant, investment analyst, treasurer or in a similar position, ideally in a banking environment, is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and interest in interpreting financial data to support business decisions
• Knowledge of banking regulations and IFRS is an asset
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• CFA, accreditation or similar is a plus
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, German or other languages is a plus
