We are currently collaborating with a company created more than 50 years ago, for their search of an Audit Manager. This audit firm is one of the main actors of this industry, all around the world, as it is present in more than 100 countries. This leader in the finance sector has known a strong growth in Luxembourg these last years, and this is the reason why it is looking to strengthen the team today.  

The company is currently composed of 200 people in Luxembourg, and they would like to develop specific clients, such as Alternative Funds and Real Estate clients. Your Responsibilities | Audit Firm – Finance – Service Provider

• You oversee a team composed of 10 people. You manage these Junior and Senior Auditors with other Managers and try to organize their day and their work efficiently.
• You are also responsible for the management of a client portfolio composed of financial entities, specifically Real Estate entities.
• You organize meetings with your clients and speak with them via email or phone, to offer them an excellent follow up during the management of their entities.
• You respect deadlines and put plannings in place to respect them.
• You are also the responsible person for reviewing the work taken on by your less experienced colleagues.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Audit – Comptabilité – PSF – Luxembourg

• You hold a Master’s Degree in Audit of Finance, or another similar field of study.
• You have more than 5 years of experience in audit, within an audit firm or a Big Four in Luxembourg. If you have experience abroad, this will be relevant for this company in addition to your experience in Luxembourg.
• The most important language in the company is English, which you need to be fluent in to communicate with your colleagues as well as your clients.
• You have good knowledge in LuxGAAP and, ideally, IFRS.
• The way you work is simple : you try to find compromises between the members of your team to balance the workload. This way, you create a good atmosphere, and you stay open-minded and are available for your colleagues, should they want or need to speak with you.
• You are a passionate person and audit is more than a job for you, this represents a part of your personality that is organized, rigorous, and precise.

• You will have to pass a technical and personality test before joining this company. This test will evaluate your level in audit and in management, as well as the salary offer. It can go up to €95.000 gross per year.
• In addition to this salary, you will benefit from meal vouchers, a pension plan, and you will have the opportunity to buy additional holidays with your bonus.
