Your area of work:
The Compliance Function works in close coordination with the individual business units and group controlfunctions to ensure adherence to national and international laws and regulations applicable to various units ofDeutsche Börse Group and its business activities. The compliance function has a proactive role in the identificationof possible compliance or reputational risks, including those that may arise in connection with new activities andproducts. Compliance defines group-wide compliance policies, supports their consistent application across groupentities, and provides centralized services in areas including the prevention of money laundering and terroristfinancing, international financial sanctions, anti-corruption, data protection, and the prevention of conflicts ofinterests. Members of the Compliance Function will not only gain experience with various complianceresponsibilities, but also have exposure to a broad range of global financial activities.
Your responsibilities:
- Support the planning, performance and reporting of the 2nd Line of Defense Compliance Controls (AML/CTF,Sanction, Regulatory Compliance, …)
- Assist assessing the Compliance risks and reporting
- Support the oversight of the outsourced Compliance services
- Support the regular Management Reporting and any other related tasks
Your profile:
- You must be enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Auditing or anyother related major and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similarfor no more than 6 months
- Pro-active and dynamic

- Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Autonomous
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical mind – ability to analyze, compare and interpret facts quickly
- Communication skills - Effective communication oral and written in English is mandatory
- General IT knowledge, including MS-Office applications
