Technology Expert - System Engineer Nutanix
For one of our clients based in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for a Technology Expert / Systems Engineer – Nutanix to strengthen the infrastructure team of a major EU institution.
As part of a highly skilled and international team, you will provide advanced technical expertise on Nutanix and related infrastructure components. You will play a key role in the operation, improvement, and evolution of a large-scale IT environment
The Technical Expert will be part of the Digital Services Unit and will work within the DESS Infrastructure Team. We are initiating an operational infrastructure project focused on:
• Deployment and configuration of a newly acquired computing cluster
• Establishing efficient maintenance/lifecycle management of existing and new infrastructure Scope of the Project:
• Set up and configure Nutanix infrastructure to serve as the backbone of the virtual environment
• Participate in the maintenance and lifecycle management of live environments
•Support a diverse software ecosystem, ranging from digital forensics tools to Big Data knowledge graph platforms. A part of the solution will be fully on-premises, air-gapped, with no external internet connectivity, ensuring maximum security and data protection. The technical expert will act as System Engineer.

• Previous architecture/design level experience Technical – Systems Engineer (Nutanix)
• Experience as System Administrator in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
• Experience in designing, implementing, and operating Nutanix infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of virtualized infrastructure, systems, and datacenters
• Experience with monitoring and maintaining infrastructure using standard tools
Advantageous Knowledge and Skills
• General knowledge of networking and ICT systems
• Expertise in a second domain such as Security or Network
• Expert-level certifications in systems/infrastructure
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices
• Hands-on experience with:
o Additional Nutanix solutions/features
o Citrix solutions
o IT automation
