As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the automation, security, and lifecycle management of application infrastructures and deployment processes. You will play a key role in designing, provisioning, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient application environments while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Your mission is to streamline the software delivery process through automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Application Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (AILM):
- Design and model infrastructure environments according to application, performance, and capacity requirements.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and maintain configuration management systems to ensure consistency and compliance with security and performance standards.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure resources to meet dynamic workload demands.
- Ensure continuous compliance and security through automated audits and policy enforcement.
- Manage infrastructure decommissioning while ensuring data integrity and traceability.
Application Release & Deployment:
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end application release processes across multiple environments (DEV, INT, QA, PREPROD, PROD).
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Support deployment consistency and environment standardization through automation and configuration management.
- Conduct validation, regression, and performance testing to ensure reliable application delivery.
- Implement post-deployment verification and rollback mechanisms to minimize downtime and risk.
- Maintain detailed release documentation and audit trails for compliance and traceability.
Application Configuration Services:
- Manage and customize application configurations throughout their lifecycle.
- Perform JDK version updates, configuration file changes, and scheduled job management.
- Support manual and automated data file transfers.
- Collaborate with application and operations teams to ensure stable and optimized configurations.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native technologies, and infrastructure automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices in system design and deployment.
- Handled operational service requests, incident management, and application environment management.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work in agile and cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying automation opportunities.
Key Competencies:
- Operating Systems: Strong experience with Linux environments.
- Web and Middleware: Nginx, SpringBoot, Artemis.
- DevOps Tools: GitLab, CI/CD, Rundeck, Podman, OpenShift, Kubernetes.
- Automation and IaC: Ansible, Jinja, HashiCorp Vault, Liquibase, Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Application Platforms: Jahia and other enterprise content platforms.
- Networking and Security: Reverse proxy, proxy, mail gateway, API security.
- Datacenter Operations: Solid understanding of virtualization, orchestration, network, storage, and database management.
- Release Management: Proven experience in release planning, deployment automation, rollback strategies, and compliance auditing.
- Security Integration: Hands-on experience embedding security controls and compliance checks within CI/CD and infrastructure automation processes.
- Operational Excellence: Standardized deployment processes, monitoring, observability, incident management
- Service Management: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, Change Management, CMDB).
- Leadership & Collaboration: Stakeholder management, strategic thinking, ITIL 4 principles, continuous improvement
- Certifications & Languages: AWS SysOps Administrator, ITIL Foundation; fluent in English, knowledge of French
