You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

Being in charge of the digital printing processes in our high-end roof production line
Organizing and supervising maintenance of digital printer and its components
Support with data preparation for digital printing
Robot programming of multi-axis machines (teaching robots)
Continuous process improvement and trouble-shooting to ensure production line outputs
Propose and implement continuous improvement actions in close relation to production, maintenance, engineering, development, and quality departments
Participate in the development of the LEAN manufacturing program
Interacting with R&D to develop and implement new processes for future products
Report directly to Line Managers
Working in shifts

Here's what you can bring to the team:

Successfully completed Master's degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
Background in Digital Printing, Automation technique, or similar

Knowledge in:

General construction of a digital printer
Printing waveforms (e.g. programming, influence on print result, interaction with print heads)
Functionality of print head in combination with ink characteristics
Modification of print templates – influences on print result (print data preparation)
Programming language Kuka KRL (ideally also C+ / C# / Python)
Knowledge in software: Beckhoff SPS, Beckhoff TwinCat (ideally also Rhino CAD, Visual Studio, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Ergosoft Rip V16)
Practice of LEAN manufacturing is appreciated
Ability to work independently
Flexible and rigorous work approach
Strong communication skills
3-5 years of experience in the automotive (glass) industry
Fluency in English, French and/or German is an advantage
Affinity with numbers and figures
