The Analyst - Investors Services and Transfer Agency is responsible processing investor level transactions, preparing investor reporting and maintain the share/unit registers. Aside contact with the clients and external business partners you will also interact with various internal teams including Fund Administration, Compliance, Legal and any other teams.


ROLE PURPOSE (HIGH LEVEL SUMMARY OF THE ROLE)


  • Processing of transactions: subscription, redemption, transfer and conversion orders as well as merger events, equalizations and dividend distributions
  • Maintaining the share/unit registers across various fund structures
  • Follow up on cash reconciliation pre and post transactions
  • Maintenance of accurate investor(s) static data and consistent oversight in the TA systems for all transfer agency clients/data
  • Preparation of various Fund reporting
  • Analyzing Fund documentation – understanding Fund constituent documents
  • Ensure efficient resolution of client queries and meeting any deadlines set per the SLAs. Deliver high quality of services to all clients in line with the company’s targets and expectations
  • Liaising with depositary, auditors, Fund accounting and other internal teams and acting with responsiveness to any requests to guarantee high quality services
  • Applying controls and procedures, ensuring that policies are adhered to daily or to specific deadlines


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Registrar and Transfer Agent position preferably within a management company or financial and corporate services provider.
  • Previous experience in dealing with complex investor structures (e.g. trusts, foundations) would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg AML / KYC requirements.
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Relevant university education, preferably in business studies, economics or finance
  • Experience in a similar position is preferred
  • Fluency in English. Any other language will be considered as an asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical stakeholders of the organization.
  • Understanding of operational risks and related controls, audit and internal control frameworks.
  • Well organized with strong administrative skills, team spirit, flexible and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrable experience of working accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and remain calm under high pressure.
  • Strong business ethic, service minded, be able to meet deadlines under pressure, eye for details, analytical and problem-solving skills.



OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience with automated TA systems and investor(s) platforms.
