About the Role:

Ferrero HQs in Luxembourg is looking for a Cybersecurity Infrastructure & System Specialist who will be part of the Cybersecurity Infrastructure & System competence center, responsible for supporting the evaluation of risks and threats of network infrastructure & system architectures, and driving the adoption of effective mitigating measures. 


 You will be tasked with studying and proposing recommendations to solve IT dilemmas concerning network security and system security topics. Thanks to your general expertise about potential cyber risks and threats of enterprise network and system solutions, you will also liaise directly with the IT department and end users concerning specific requests. 

 

Moreover, with your skills as a cybersecurity professional, you will be responsible for supporting the process of new solution adoption (e.g., new software, hardware, security tools) and maintenance, guaranteeing a quality service throughout the process. You will be tasked to follow-up on the deployment process, in close collaboration with IT, to ensure completeness. 


Main Responsibilities:

Covering this role, you will negotiate with IT about the prioritization of security requirements to be applied on networks and systems, in relation to regular IT operations. 

Moreover, you will provide expertise in handling specific cybersecurity tools and/or procedures for the delivery of projects and the completion of operative tasks, such as security evaluations, security reconfigurations, and security verifications. 

 

Your tasks will include supporting the Infrastructure & System competence center by defining cybersecurity controls to include within central processes and procedures, taking care of their maintenance and update. Similarly, you will create cybersecurity guidelines and requirements to be included within statements of work, terms and conditions, and other appropriate procurement documents, ensuring the correct integration of cybersecurity requirements into other central processes. 

 

Additionally, you will gather data and metrics to enable cybersecurity KPI and KRI evaluation for the Cybersecurity group in general, and also specifically for the Infrastructure & System competence center. Lastly, you will identify improvement potentials in the field of Infrastructure & System security. 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring knowledge from a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or other related fields, combined with 2-4 years of working experience as cybersecurity network or system specialist or similar job positions (e.g., IT security consultant, penetration tester, security engineer, etc.) preferably in manufacturing or FMCG. Your grasp of IT architectures, common enterprise solutions, processes and tools will prove highly valuable. 

 

Key to this role will be your negotiation capabilities related to the prioritization of security requirements against IT Operation as well as your outstanding analytical and conceptualization skills. Your personal commitment to studying and self-improvement will also prove valuable. 

 

Additionally, you possess the ability to adequately communicate in a social environment, being conscious of the business context, to work as a team member and also in a stand-alone manner and to manage autonomously work assignment while efficiently aligning with Infrastructure & System on specific requests.  

 

You will succeed in this role thanks to your expertise in network services, protocols, and overall architectures that provide network communications, as well as of operating systems, and applications concepts. Moreover, you are familiar with security concepts and tools and cybersecurity international standards, laws, and regulations (e.g. ENISA, NIST, ISO27k). 

 

Lastly, you are skilled in PowerShell or SQL-like query languages. Any of the following certifications would prove to be an asset: ISO/IEC 27001, CISA, CISSP, CCNA Security, Comptia Security+, GSEC, GSLC, CEH, OSCP, or other professional certifications related to cybersecurity will be considered a plus.
