At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue team.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Analyze IT functional and non-functional requirements, synthesize available information, and ensure the project team comprehends all necessary details
- Analyze and define specifications linked to the integration with other applications and/or technological components
- Work with the Enterprise and Solution Architects to design models using modeling tools and provide guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with numerous stakeholders to ensure that their concerns, requirements, and contributions are included in the requirements specification document
- Support the testing team and plan user acceptance testing to ensure system compliance with specifications
- Participate in the testing, technical documentation, training, deployment, evaluation and reporting
- Produce and maintain Analysis & Design documents, including Functional Analysis & Design and User Guides
- Define Use cases and User Stories, and address low-level design issues and patterns
- Assist with training administrators and end-users of the systems
- Conduct business risk analysis and maintain traceability matrices
Requirements:
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Analysis related to IT software
- Substantial experience in Business and IT System analysis, and ability to translate business requirements into IT requirements
- Strong experience in the use of modeling and design tools in Business or IT projects (ARIS, EA, etc.)
- Experience with introducing wireframes using Balsamiq
- Skilled at specifying requirements using Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Proficient in prototyping and presenting detailed interaction design specifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience in UML
- Good knowledge of relational database systems
- Ability to apply architectural principles to functional solutions and use model-based representations to collect, aggregate, or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business
- Experience with training/coaching on analysis techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity in writing documents in English
- Experience and willingness to work in an international/multicultural environment
- Excellent use of the English language (verbal & written). Knowledge of French would be considered as asset
