Your Role

Working for the elipsLife business, with our Finance/Accounting team, your accountabilities will be:

  • Be a dynamic and open-minded team member of an international team
  • Work independently on day-to-day activities for the elipsLife business (such as booking and reconciling broker commissions, technical accounting, bank reconciliations, quarterly fees, reinsurance…)
  • Proactively analyze and propose areas of automation to improve the day-to-day process
  • Participating in projects in coordination with other team members and technical experts
  • Support the Team in improving processes to deliver the best quality accounts in a control minded environment
  • Leading the monthly closing and quarterly technical closing processes
  • Preparation of periodic reporting (regulatory reporting, financial reporting, tax reporting)
  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory and consolidated results


Your Profile

  • Graduate in accounting with a very significant experience in an international environment or in an insurance company
  • Fluent in English. Good communication skills (written and verbal) in German are an advantage
  • Computer literate (MS Office) with a sound knowledge of excel, a previous SAP experience would be considered as an advantage
  • Rigorous, organized, reliable and flexible
  • Self-driven individual with strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to understand different perspectives
  • Highly motivated team player, able to deliver results and to cope with tight deadlines and high workload in a fast-changing environment
