We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planning Assistant to support and strengthen our Planning Department.

The Production Planning Assistant, based on the Strategic Demand plans, is in charge of the production schedules, determining the production details for each product that should be produced.

Your responsibilities: 

·       Make the production planning, based on the Strategic Demand Planning

·       Daily creation of subsequent plans to accommodate production planning

·       Daily Monitoring of Finished Products production to avoid Out of Stock situations.

·       Regularly check production capacity versus demand & Monitoring production capacity.

·       Maintain good relations with other departments (Purchasing, Production, Strategic Demand Planning, Logistics, Printing Department.. )

Your profile: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related field

·       At least 5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain planning within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

·       Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning and experience in translating strategic and demand plans into detailed production schedule

·       Strong knowledge of SAP / S4HANA and excel is a must

·       Required languages: German and English, all other language is an asset

·       Able to work well with others in a team environment as well as individually
