We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer (M/F) to play a key role in our client’s Data Warehouse migration to a cloud-based Data Lakehouse. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale digital transformation initiative, ensuring seamless data transition, accuracy, and performance in a cloud environment.
THE WORK:
- Design and implement test strategies for the migration of an on-premises Data Warehouse to the cloud.
- Conduct data validation, performance testing, and quality assurance for cloud-based Data Lakehouse architecture.
- Ensure data governance, security, and integrity during the migration process.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to optimize workflows.
- Document test cases, execute test plans, and manage defect tracking and reporting.
TESTING SCOPE:
- Validate schema transformations, data accuracy, and pipeline performance.
- Perform rigorous test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
- Adapt to evolving ETL and cloud environments while maintaining high data quality standards.
Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen client relationships.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Expertise in SQL for data validation and performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Data Lakehouse.
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
