Senior Risk Controller (m/f/d) – AC181

Our client is a provider of Banking, Depositary and Custody services within a global financial services provider. They are currently looking for a Senior Risk Controller supporting their Risk Controlling department.  You will be doing regular risk identification and reporting, maintenance of their risk systems, improving the procedures, and implementing new requirements. Your Role:

• Regular risk identification, scenario calculation, and risk reporting;
• Maintaining, controlling, and further developing their risk systems and models incl. their parameters;
• Fostering and improving the procedures and instruments for managing operational risks;
• Implementation of new requirements, especially regarding ICAAP and ILAAP, and optimization of associated processes;
• Supporting the implementation of cross-departmental processes;
• Coordinating preliminary analyses of new products, updating existing process descriptions, and executing market conformity checks.

Your Profile:

• A degree in administration, economics, or mathematics with a banking-related focus, a banking apprenticeship is advantageous
• Several years of relevant experience within a bank and solid knowledge of methods, instruments, and systems for risk measurement, preferable in the field of Operational Risks
• Sound knowledge of existing European and Luxemburgish laws and regulatory requirements for banks
• Excellent communication skills in English, and German advantageous
• Strong analytical as well as pragmatic- thinking skills and a high level of commitment in both, individual and teamwork
