Fund Tax Expert

reenfield Luxembourg, on behalf of its client, is seeking a dynamic Fund Tax Expert to join its Global Tax team for a 6-month mission with the potential for extension. This role offers onsite work with standard home-office options and an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and meticulously review tax reports for funds across various countries.
• Engage with external stakeholders such as clients, fund administrators, certifiers, and auditors as needed, emphasizing effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Provide expert advice to clients, ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations for fund distribution, and navigating through intricate tax landscapes.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the tax business model by introducing innovative ideas and strategic insights.
• Oversee the client reporting database, customizing solutions to meet specific client requirements and ensuring client success.
• Extract, cleanse, and meticulously prepare data for analysis, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Hold a degree in economics, accounting, business, or tax, with a keen interest in the investment fund industry.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial/tax reporting or fund accounting
• Fluency in English.
• Exhibit proficiency in Excel tools, enabling effective data management and analysis.
• Showcase strong analytical skills and an unwavering attention to detail, facilitating informed, data-driven decision-making.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and individual initiative.
