Your role

  • Partnership with Industry: Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry partners to facilitate collaborative research projects, knowledge exchange, and technology transfer
  • Technology Transfer: Identify and develop opportunities for transferring research outcomes and technologies to industry applications, ensuring successful commercialization and practical implementation
  • EU Funded Projects Management: Lead the acquisition, technical management, and implementation of EU-funded research projects, including proposal writing
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and oversee research activities within the group, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables
  • Support to Head of Group: Assist the head of the research group in strategic planning, project development, and overall group management, contributing to the achievement of research objectives
  • Research and develop innovative security technologies, focusing on blockchain, AI, and advanced encryption methods and test these technologies in simulated environments to evaluate their effectiveness
  • Implement developed security solutions in real-world Fintech applications

Your profile

  • PhD in system security, trusted execution environments, security of medical devices, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing industry partnerships and technology transfer initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing EU-funded research projects
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with entrepreneurship, including starting and managing technology ventures, is highly desirable
  • Experience in strategic planning and research group management is a plus
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an asset
