Secure Transport Consultant (MFT & File Transfer Solutions)

About the Role

We are looking for a Secure Transport Consultant to join a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing secure file transfer services across a complex enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical data exchanges between internal systems, business applications, and external partners. You will support daily operations, troubleshoot incidents, implement new file transfer flows, and contribute to the evolution of the organization's Managed File Transfer (MFT) ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support secure file transfer platforms.

Configure and monitor file exchanges through sFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and MFT solutions.

Troubleshoot incidents and ensure timely resolution of production issues.

Implement and manage secure data exchange workflows between applications and external partners.

Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives.

Ensure compliance with security, operational, and availability requirements.

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application Support teams.

Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Monitor file transfer activities and ensure end-to-end traceability.

Synchrony Gateway v6.17

Synchrony Transfer (CFT)

Strong experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms

Expertise in secure transfer protocols:sFTP
