We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist in our International Headquarters in Luxembourg, who will support the Director of Charity & Promotion.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors;
- Sourcing materials, goods and products negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals;
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary;
- Monitoring purchased products to ensure quality;
- Conducting market research to monitor emerging trends and business opportunities;
- Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately;
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock;
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled;
- Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals;
- Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Management or in similar relevant field;
- Previous experience in a similar role (3-5 years) is mandatory;
- Understanding of purchasing management programs (SAP, Oracle SCM Cloud, etc.);
- Being able to work independently and as a team;
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to details;
- Networking and time management skills;
- Fluent in English, German is a plus;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
