The Chief Risk Officer will oversee the risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This role involves producing key regulatory reports and providing expert advice on risk-related issues.

Description

• Lead risk management in compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Advise business lines on risk issues and implement risk control measures.
• Produce key regulatory reports: ICAAP, ILAAP, Pillar III, and the Recovery Plan.
• Supervise internal and regulatory risk reporting.
• Act as the main contact for the Luxembourg Regulator (CSSF).
• Liaise with external auditors on risk management matters.
• Perform ad-hoc risk analysis and improve the risk database.
• Control ICT and security risks.
• Participate in the Credit Committee and handle ESG matters.

Profile

• University Degree in Finance or Economics.
• Minimum 8 years of banking sector experience.
• Extensive knowledge of risk measurement systems and prudential reporting.
• Strong presentation and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; fluency in English is mandatory, French/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, proactive, analytical, and flexible.
• Demonstrates good leadership skills.
