Senior AML Specialist, Transfer Agency
Temporary position
Responsibilities:
• Take on the role of team leader, overseeing day-to-day priorities to efficiently deliver the Luxembourg AML periodic review backlog for 2022 and 2023.
• Lead the planning and execution of the 2024 periodic review, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Case Review and Checking:
• Act as a checker for medium and low-risk AML cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance and support to the team in complex AML cases.
• Expert Support:
• Lend expertise to the team, offering guidance on AML-related matters and contributing to the overall success of the team.
• Procedural Uplifts:
• Assist in the enhancement and uplift of AML procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Training and Development:
• Provide training to new team members and support the development of less experienced team members in AML best practices.
• Escalation Management:
• Escalate matters of concern promptly, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve issues effectively.
• Client Support:
• Handle and support client escalations related to AML matters, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
• Management Information:
• Assist in maintaining accurate management information related to AML activities.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership on the progress of AML periodic reviews and other relevant activities.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of AML experience in Transfer Agency.
• Proven senior subject matter expertise in AML.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of AML regulations, procedures, and industry standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex AML cases and make sound decisions.
• Previous experience in procedural enhancements and training development.
