For our department UX & QAÂ within
General Services, we are looking for a (an):
UX Designer (m/f/x)
Main duties:
Focus on designing the experience and visuals on websites,
apps, software, and any digital products touch points
- Creating user-centered
designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback via storyboards,
user flows, wireframes, prototypes, low/high fidelity mockups, etc;
- Translate user/business
requirements into interfaces from style guides, design systems, design
patterns to UI elements, navigational, and informational components;
- Creating original
graphic designs (i.e., illustrations, images, sketches).
Goal to make the interface intuitive and easily
navigable
- Translate functional
complexity to interface simplicity;
- Identifying and
troubleshooting UX problems (e.g., Information architecture, responsiveness);
- Incorporate customer
feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into the design to enhance
user experience;
- Ensure that the
digital products work on all types of screen sizes.
Goal to provide a top-class digital experience
- Benchmark competition
and follow up design trends to create more engaging UI/UX design interfaces;
- Ensure consistent user
interface and experience by creating, implementing, and maintaining our
design system (element, simple/advanced component, page template);
Collaborate effectively with the UX, product,
engineering, marketing, and management teams
- Follow the brand
identity, apply the brand’s assets such as logos, colors, typography, and
more. Communicate the brand’s message and values to its audience;
- Work with the
engineering team to bridge the gaps between the design and development of
the interface;
- Update and adapt design
components while the digital product grow;
- Participate in UX research
activities (User study, Focus group, workshops, design thinking, customer
journeys, etc.).Â
Goal to share knowledge
- Provide and share
design guidelines and principles with other departments;
- Evangelize design best
practices within the company.Â
Required profile:
- Bachelor in
Communications Design, Master of Arts (M.a);
- Excellent written
communication skills (English), French, German, Luxembourgish is a plus;
- Excellent
organizational skills, ability to effectively plan and size design work
and tasks;
- Ability to work effectively
and collaboratively in a multicultural environment;
- Strong facilitation
& presentation skills, ability to gather and synthesize feedback, argument a design
ideation/proposal;
- Excellent knowledge of
Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and design tools (Figma,
Sketch, Invision, etc.);
- Must have worked with
Agile methodology;
- Must have Design
framework knowledge like Material design;
- HTML/CSS Coding
knowledge and diploma/certification is a plus,
- Further Coding
knowledge like React, Angular is a plus.
