Our job opportunity
Today, we are currently recruiting a Geographic Information System (GIS) Officer.
Your responsibilities
*Your daily tasks
Being responsible for the ongoing development, configuration and maintenance of the GIS database and develop various related applications for different departments.
Collecting plans and various information to feed into the database for Luxembourg Airport, ensuring the accuracy of the information provided.
Working with stakeholders involved in the system (ESRI supplier, surveyors, design offices, users, etc.).
Carrying out certain topographical surveys in the field as required.
Producing certain infrastructure plans in AUTOCAD 2D based on technical and topographical data collected in the field
Updating and correcting existing plans following adaptations and work in progress
Verifying the accuracy of ‘as-built’ documents during on-site checks of the execution
Developing design standards for plans
Optimising the development and monitoring of the technical department's document database
Providing daily reports to the heads of the technical, projects departments
*Your other missions
Participating in inclusion initiatives (e.g. Hidden Disabilities Sunflower project, for people with invisible disabilities).
Participating in the integration of new employees
Participating in waste sorting and energy saving through responsible behavior

The required profile
Studies / training
Higher education degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Geographic Information, Geography, Geomatics or equivalent experience

Experience
5-8 years of experience in a similar position

Skills and knowledge required
*IT Tools
Mandatory :
- Microsoft Office Suite ;
- AUTOCAD ;
*Languages
Mandatory :
English: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
French: fluent spoken and written (C1 minimum)
Nice-to-have:
German: the knowledge of this language would be an asset.

Valid permanent B driving licence
