We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist.

What you will be working on:

The Senior Procurement Specialist will support the Procurement Department by ensuring that KPMG gets the best value for money and adding value for business client facing while ensuring the contractual and other risks are mitigated. The role will not only partner across the Business Services functions but also with Business Lines (audit, advisory, tax). Also, she/he will support negotiations of the best conditions for all purchases in the scope of the procurement function (wide range of categories including facilities, IT, marketing (event), translation, legal, training, etc.) and will make proposals to improve processes and policies to achieve organizational goals.

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Procurement Specialist handles the assigned procurement activities, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Running negotiations / renegotiations of contracts and quotations.
  • Running tenders autonomously and summarizing results in an executive summary.
  • Evaluating, analyzing and proposing suppliers for specific areas of responsibility.
  • Managing partnerships and relationships with suppliers.
  • Follow up on suppliers’ SLA.
  • Reporting on procurement savings, contractor service levels and internal procurement KPIs.
  • Ensuring compliance to procurement policy.
  • Partnering with Global for existing procurement contracts.
  • Administrative handling of procurement activities, including follow-up of approval processes, issuance of POs, budget verification etc,


What we look for:

  • Holds a Bachelor's or a Master’s degree in Purchasing and business administration/ Economics or financial area
  • Has experience on contract revision including legal, privacy and ideally IT security topics, or is keen to get it proactively.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is fluent in English and French.
  • Has more than 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Has agility with numbers, strong analytical skills and a good understanding of procurement best practices.
  • Is MS Office skilled (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
