As a Relationship Manager - Team Lead, you will be part of the Sales & Marketing function of the ManCo and you will perform the following tasks:
Development and maintenance of the distribution network
• Manage the commercial relation with countries/clients (main task);
• Negotiate agreements with the distributors and/or local (paying) agents;
• Be the point of contact of distributors and organise communication/meetings with them;
• Stay up to date with best practices and industry trends impacting the distribution.
Oversight of distributors
• Perform the initial and/or ongoing due diligences on distributors and other service providers related to the distribution;
• Obtain, review and analyse the KPIs from distributors.
Fund information and marketing materials
• Ensure fund information and data is adequately disseminated to distributors and fund info providers;
• Maintain websites of the ManCo and the funds;
• Support the Marketing Team with business requirements on (new) commercial/marketing initiatives.
Reporting
• Prepare and produce internal dashboards on distribution activity
• Prepare reports to the Senior Mgt/Board on status of the fund distribution.
Project management
• Be the commercial voice of your client within the ManCo;
• Actively contribute to new projects and products from a distribution and marketing perspective;
• Identify and implement solutions to improve oversight and operational processes.
Given the relative small size of the team, the Relationship Manager will also have to be a perfect team player.
Knowledge and experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial function linked to Investment Products (Sales within an asset manager, Banker, Private Banker, Wealth Manager,...)
Skills
• Fluency in French and English, (professional) knowledge of Spanish, Italian or any other language is to be considered as a strong asset
• Excellent commercial, presentation and organisation skills
• Ability to work multi-tasks
• Flexible and eager to learn (on the job)
• Rigorous and good attention to details
• Sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Team player with good communication skills (both oral and written)
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
